Any gardener can likely recount a time when the best laid plans resulted in epic horticultural failures – tulip bulbs planted upside down, a weed eater wreaking havoc on a fledgling tree, or maybe an unfortunate mixup between weed killer and fertilizer. In our house, the event included my husband’s well meaning attempt to weed my flower bed- inadvertently plucking nearly every one of my new sprouts from the seeds I’d carefully planted 2 weeks prior.
The point is, when growth is involved, setbacks are inevitable.
Unfortunately, ConnectEd Learning Community recently had one such setback. While no plants were harmed in the mishap, several Community Group registrations were lost into the ether. Due to a situation involving updates to plug-ins on web hosting services and other such technical things about which I don’t specialize, it is likely that folks who tried to register for a Group between late January and early March experienced an epic ghosting by our fledgling Community. That is so sad!!
As with the weeding of the non-weed sprouts, all we can do is learn from the situation and replant. So…
If you tried to register for a group and got the silent treatment, PLEASE TRY AGAIN!
Thank you for your grace as we learn how to start a business, manage a website, and most importantly, create a safe, nurturing community for those doing the most important work in the world.
